Emily Prentice-Blackett is a national of the United States Virgin Islands and a citizen of the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis. Emily is a proud graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2014. Thereafter, Emily attended the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica and was awarded the Legal Educational Certificate in 2016 and was admitted as an Attorney-at-Law of the St. Christopher and Nevis Circuits of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in the same year.
Prior to joining our team at Joseph Rowe in January of 2020, Emily worked assiduously in private practice in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, primarily in the area of civil litigation. Emily is an experienced advocate, having appeared as legal Counsel in the Magistrate’s Court, High Court and Court of Appeal in St. Kitts and Nevis.
