Shakieda E. Sealy, a national of Barbados, joined our team at Joseph Rowe in February 2019. Shakieda is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with Honours in 2007, a Master of Science in International Trade Policy in 2009 and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in 2013. Thereafter, Shakieda attended the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad where she obtained her Legal Educational Certificate in 2015. Shakieda has worked extensively in the private sector and as an International Trade Consultant. Since obtaining her Legal Educational Certificate, she has worked in Barbados in private practice with a focus on Civil Litigation, Estates, Conveyancing and Corporate Law.
