St. Kitts and Nevis launches new Hurricane Relief Fund for Citizenship by Investment

The recent announcement of the St. Kitts and Nevis Government that persons who wish to obtain St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship may now apply using the new option of the Hurricane Relief Fund (HRF) is a welcome addition to the St. Kitts and Nevis platinum citizenship product. Under this new investment option an applicant can qualify for St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship by investment in the HRF fund as follows:

1. $150,000 for a single applicant and up to a family of 4 (main applicant, spouse and 2 dependents)

2. An additional contribution of $25,000 is required for every additional dependent.

All the other fees and disbursements remain the same as with the SIDF donation option.

This additional option has sparked significant interest in the St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship product globally as it represents a significant savings from the previous donation option (SIDF) which required a minimum investment of $250,000 for a single applicant and $300,000 for a family of 4. Also, applicants can have the comfort of knowing that their donation will be used to support a worthy cause.

The HRF option is available until March 31, 2018.
